Taiwanese coffee scene is really hot. Every city seems to have lots of 3rd wave coffee hot spots. What’s the difference with Japanese one and theirs. From my point of view the attractions of the Space is much higher its of Taiwan. I could even feel the stories from the Taiwanese coffee shops. Maybe the owners love to choose those kinds of places. These places have interesting background stories. Like this shop which was originally build in 1916 (in the reign of Japan) as an Otorhinolaryngology!Their shop name “1035”was originated from their telephone number which at that moment very rare to have.

Coffee and their homemade sweets was great. The place doesn’t limit the customers demographically. Foreigners, seniors, youngers all enjoy the time there very naturally. So its more European style than ours.Which I always wish to have here in Tokyo.

I regret I didn’t purchase some more drip bags here. It happens several times in Taiwan. After the trip, we can enjoy a nice cup of coffee. of course we will have memories of lovely spaces and imagine their stories.
